Glenna Jean Hall, daughter of George Elmer and Addie Irene (Kester) Black, was born May 11, 1933 in Oakwood, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 23, 2018 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years.

She was a farmer and cattlewoman for many years. She was also a homemaker who enjoyed the duties of being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was known to many as Granny or Great Great. She had a huge heart and would take many people into her home to care for them. She was a very faithful member at Copic Church while her health permitted. She loved family reunions, gardening, flowers and quilting which she made one as recent as Thanksgiving.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, George and Addie Black, husbands, Ben Harper, Bill Janes and John Hall, daughter, Sharron Jewell, great -granddaughter; Meadow Lark McNac, siblings Richard, George, Bryan and Troy Black, Loys Cloud, Minnie Heer and infant siblings.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children, Chris Daugherty and husband Johnny, Bennie “Bub” Harper, Greg Harper all of Stilwell, one step-son, Greg Hall of North Dakota, one stepdaughter, Alice Denoma and husband Donald of Texas, 4 grandchildren; Michelle Barr and husband Roger of Okanogan, Wash., Marcus Daugherty of Stilwell, Jeff Gist and wife Tracie of Ft. Smith, Ark., Chris Gist of Stilwell, one step-grandson: Corey Melton and wife Lacey of Idaho, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Roberts/Reed- Culver Chapel, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Brother Floyd Kester officiating.

Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery.
