Gene L. Gray
November 12, 1922-December 30, 2007
Gene L. Gray, the son of R.D. Gray and Mattie Heckhart Gray, was born in Cimarron County, Oklahoma on November 12, 1922.
He went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2007, in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 18 days.
Gene was married to Bonnie Carol McNeil on April 4, 1942. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and a local rancher and feed store operator.
His parents, and one brother, Ronald J. Gray, preceded Gene in death.

Survivors include, his wife, Bonnie Gray, of the home in Stilwell, five children; Judy Brunk and husband, Fred, Ronda Holtz and husband, Fred, Ron Gray and wife, Robin, Gena Gehring and husband, Paul, Brett Gray and wife, Cathy, 13 grandchildren, two sisters; Joyce Randolph and Shirley Thompson.
Numerous family, friends and loved ones also survive him.
Services were held Thursday, January 3, 2008, at the First Christian Church with Jack Steele and Kevin Spurlock officiating.
Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Bonnie Carol Gray, the daughter of Floyd McNeil and Alta (Admire) McNeil, was born December 23, 1923, in Green Forest, Arkansas. She passed from this life to be with the Lord on December 9, 2010, at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 16 days.
Bonnie married Gene L. Gray on April 4, 1942, and to this union was born five children. Together, Bonnie and Gene operated Farmers Produce feed store for 49 years. She was a dedicated member of the First Christian Church, Home Extension, bridge club and a CASA volunteer. Bonnie enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, bird watching and attending church.
Her parents and husband, Gene L. Gray, preceded Bonnie in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving family which includes, her children, Judy and Fred Brunk, Ronda and Fred Holtz, Ron and Robin Gray, Gena and Paul Gehring, Brett and Cathy Gray; grandchildren, David Rhoads, Daniel Holtz, Bobbie Lynn O’Neal, Jennifer Christie, Seth Gray, Bonnie Carol Gray, Ethan Gehring, Jill Gehring, Thane Gehring, Xena Gehring, Von Gray, Serena Gray and Brunk Gray; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Jacob, Cole, Cooper, Eli and Shaelynn; one sister, Rexalee Costilow. Numerous family, friends and loved ones also survive her.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at the First Christian Church with Jack Steele and Kevin Spurlock officiating. Interment will follow at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
