Jimmy Eugene Cooper, 70, of Dewey passed away at the Medicalodge on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

Jimmy was born in Stilwell, Oklahoma on May 1, 1949 to parents Chester H. Cooper and Edna Mae (Martin) Cooper. Jimmy enjoyed learning about old cars and John Deer Tractors. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, J.C. Cooper, JR Cooper, JT Cooper, Charles Cooper, and Kenneth Cooper; one sister, Lena Mae (Cooper) McMurtrey .

Jimmy is survived by two brothers, Jerry Lee Cooper and John Henry Cooper; two sisters, Ellen Cooper and Reba (Cooper) Morris; a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to the Medicalodges of Dewey Activity Department at 430 Bartles Rd, Dewey, OK 74029

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date at the Stilwell Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 27, from 1 pm to 8 pm at Stumpff Funeral Home.
