Ruby Mae Christie, the daughter of John and Laura (Tudor) Pruett, was born December 31, 1922 in Kiefer, Oklahoma and departed this life February 25, 2018 at her home in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 95.

Ruby was married to Herbert Christie and their union was blessed with three children. She enjoyed her role as a homemaker and loved her family. Ruby enjoyed taking trips, seeing the countryside, going to the senior center and going to the casino. She was also known to be quite a fisherman.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, John and Laura Pruett, her husband, Herbert Christie, siblings, Naoma Friend, Beulah Baird, Leonard Pruett, Virgil Pruett and Billy Pruett and two grandsons, Gary Riley and Donald Anderegg.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing a loving family which includes, her children, Helen Barr of Welling, OK, Shirley Anderegg and husband Andy of Concord, CA and Sonny Christie of Antioch, CA, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren 4 great-great-grandchildren and1 great-great-great grandchild expected in June.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Brian S. Kester officiating.

Interment will follow at Stilwell City Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
