August 17, 1910 - June 12, 2006
Funeral services for Lily Catron, 95, were held 10:00 a.m. Friday June 16, 2006 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Kevin Spurlock officiating.
Interment followed at the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Lily Covington Catron was born August 17, 1910 at Brushy Mountain in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Will and Dora Covington and went home to be with the Lord June 12, 2006 in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Lily married Fred Austin Catron on July 26, 1926. To this union were born four sons, Vesper Leroy, Fred Austin Jr., Dale Warren, Bobby Lee, and one daughter, Billie Lois.
Lily is survived by Vesper L. and his wife, Suzie, of Kansas, OK, BillieLois and husband, Charles Crozier, of Stilwell, OK., Fred A. Jr., and wife, Sue of Pryor, OK, Dale W. and wife, Ann of Kansas, OK, and Evelyn Catron of Stilwell, OK; four sisters, Nora Pinkerton, of Springdale, AR, Winona Ford of San Clementa, CA, Zoe and husband, Dwayne Nolan of Cameria, CA and Chloe and husband, Lloyd Clark of Las Vegas, NV; 18 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and a host of loved ones and friends.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Fred; a son, Bobby Lee; her mother and father, Will and Dora Covington; two sisters Colleen Covington and Lois Thompson; one brother Lloyd Covington and one grandson, Kenny Catron.
