Nora Cantrell, daughter of Sampson Wiley Davis and Louisa Sumner, was born on March 12, 1929 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and departed this life on Saturday, June 17, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at 89 years of age.

She loved gardening, cooking, painting ceramics and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Sampson Wiley Davis and Louisa Sumner Davis, 16 brothers and sisters and her children, Geraldine White, Deloris Jeannie Kelley and Goldie Morie Strong.

She is survived by a loving and devoted family that includes her children: Raymond Floyd Strong of Muldrow, Leslie Strong and wife Joyce Ann of Roland, Ellie Izora Rinehart of Stilwell, siblings: Marth Holt of Stigler, Kensey Davis of Sallisaw and Linda Davis of Keota.

Nora is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 26 great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, with Daniel Bradley officiating.

Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell.
