Nina Geraldine Butler
May 12, 1921 - March 13, 2006
Nina Geraldine Butler, the daughter of Johnny Franklin and Susie Jane (Burnett) Keeter, was born May 13, 1921 in Whitmire, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 13, 2006 in Stilwell, at the age of 84 years nine months and 27 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lonnie Butler, one daughter: Loretta Butler, four brothers: Tom, Ross, Cecil, Code and Willard Keeter, three sisters: Delphia Goodwin, Alma Hubbard, and Reba Steen.
Geraldine was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She loved cooking, canning and making quilts and was very good at everything she did
She is survived by a very loving family that includes two sons: Carl Butler and wife Judy and Lonnie Gerald Butler and wife Phoebe, one daughter: Rowena Ogden and husband Jerry all of Stilwell, 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and two sister-in-laws: Dewey Butler of Farmington, and Pauline Butler of Stilwell. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2006 at the Roberts/Reed - Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Audie Vaughn officiating.
Interment followed in the Stilwell City Cemetery under the Direction of Roberts/Reed - Culver Funeral Home.
