Patsy Marie Brooks, daughter of James Claudie and Bertha Oleta (Wright) Wyers was born November 1, 1932 in Ozark, Arkansas and departed this life on June 5, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 4 days.

She married Sidney Dale Brooks on September 22, 1950 and to this union 5 children were born; Jeanette Diane, Clyde Dale, Judy Lynn, Greta Faye and John Douglas. Her and Sid owned and operated Stilwell Butane for many years. She later became a homemaker where she enjoyed the duties of being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.

She loved bowling and playing card games. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends but her biggest delight in life was spending time with her 2 precious granddaughters; Jamie and Heather.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Sid Brooks in 1995, 3 daughters; Jeanette Diane, Judy Lynn and Greta Faye Brooks, 1 brother; Harold Wyers and 2 sisters; Beatrice Auxier and Jeri Emerson.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her 2 sons; Clyde Brooks and John Brooks and wife Michelle all of Stilwell, Ok, 2 granddaughters; Jamie and Heather Brooks both of Stilwell, Ok. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Darrell Lacie officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
