Dean Bradford son of James Franklin and Carrie Etta (Mantooth) Bradford was born October 20, 1928 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on August 15, 2015 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 26 days.

Dean was a farmer and ranch hand for many years. He also enjoyed construction work. He was a member of the Stilwell First Baptist Church where he attended regularly while his health permitted. He had a great love for baseball and his favorite teams were the St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son; Mickey Bradford, 2 brothers; J.T. Bradford and Lawson Bradford, an uncle who was like a brother; Raymond Bradford and 1 great grandson; Trenton 'Dozer' Beaver.

Dean is survived by his family that includes his wife of 29 years; Lois Bradford of the home in Stilwell, OK, children; Gary Bradford and wife Wanda of OKC, OK, Larry Bradford and wife Donita of Yukon, OK, Anita Paulas and husband Lucian of OKC, OK, Terry Bradford and wife Lynn of Piedmont, OK, Judy Stokes and husband Ralph of OKC, OK. 3 step children; Bruce Addington, Carolyn Addington, Gina Garrett and husband Bill all of Stilwell, OK, 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Roger Haney officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home
