Funeral services for Jimmy Dale Bowling, age 53, will be held on February 6th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hart Funeral Home with Reverend Stanley Upchurch officiating. Interment will follow at Stilwell City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Those serving as pallbearers include Jerry Schoeffler, Jeff Smith, Bobby Smith, Clay Smith, Ron Hendrix, and L.D. Jones.
Jimmy Dale Bowling was born on June 6th, 1953 in Tulsa, OK to George “Clayton” and Helen Irmaleen (Sixkiller) Bowling. He went home to his Lord and Savior on February 2, 2007 in Tulsa, OK. Jimmy was a graduate of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa and began his career as a cabinetmaker. Jimmy spent all of his lifetime in the Tulsa area. A quiet man, Jimmy enjoyed his spare time reading or watching movies. He enjoyed the time he spent with his family visiting and liked time spent with his cat. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was of the Baptist faith.
His loved ones preceding him in death include his mother in 1954, his grandparents Cicero and Myrtle Sixkiller, William and Mary Jane Bowling, and Errol and Zonella Houston.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Clayton and Betty Bowling, three loving sisters, Carolyn and Jerry Schoeffler of Tulsa, Helen and Jeff Smith of Broken Arrow, and Teresa and Bobby Smith of Tulsa, OK. His five adored nieces and nephews include Olivia and Victoria Schoeffler, Julie, Clay, and Daniel Smith, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
