Duane Blankenship

Duane Blankenship, the son of Jesse and Gladys (Long) Blankenship, was born April 3, 1938 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on October 13, 2019 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 10 days.

Duane was one of a kind who loved his family dearly. He enjoyed going to church and serving the Lord in any capacity. He was a lifetime member of the Stilwell Church of Christ. Duane touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Gladys Blankenship.

He is survived by three cousins Jack Guffey, Linda Jean Wollf and Judy Marlett. Several friends and other relatives also survive him.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Stilwell Church of Christ with Rusty Dawson officiating.

Interment will follow at  Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
