Lena Beaver
December 25, 1939-May 30, 2008
Lena Beaver, daughter of William Murlie and Fannie Ellen (Tudor) Brown was born December 25, 1939 in Riverside, CA and departed this life to be with our Lord on May 30, 2008 in Stilwell, OK., at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 5 days.
She worked as a nurse's aide for many, many years. She loved to care for other people. Lena was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands; Glenn Casteel and Robert Beaver, 2 brothers; Bill and Melvin Brown, 1 sister; Alta Brown, and 2 grandchildren; Stephanie and Darrell Kuykendall.
Lena is survived by a very loving family that includes 2 daughters; Debra Kuykendall and husband Carroll of Prairie Grove, AR., Paulette Kuykendall and husband Mark of Stilwell, OK., 1 son; Glenn Larry Casteel Jr., and wife Virginia of Muskogee, OK., 9 grandchildren; Megan Capps and husband Zachary, Joshua, Zachery, and Amy Kuykendall, Justin, Matthew, and Luke Kuykendall, Mark and Susan Casteel, 2 sisters; Vinita Marler of Morro Bay, CA., and Alma Grimes of Sonora, CA., several other relatives and many friends also survive her.
Graveside services were held, Monday, June 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stilwell City Cemetery with Bro. Roger Kester officiating.
Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
