Mrs. H. A. Battles

Mrs. H. A. Battles died at her home near Bidding Springs last Saturday, after an illness of a month. She was 47 years old.
The deceased was a most excellent Christian lady, a devout member of the Baptist church, and loved by her neighbors for her many noble traits of character.
Burial was at New Hope Sunday afternoon, funeral services conducted by Rev. S. M. Crocker, assisted by Mrs. Leonidas Ferguson.
She leaves a husband, four children, two brothers and two sisters and a host of friends to mourn her death.
