Randy Levern Thompson was born on October 17, 1953 to Luther and Betty (Taylor) Thompson in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the age of 66 in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

He was a 1971 graduate of Morton High School in Morton, Washington. Soon after graduation, he moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas and met the love of his life, Linda Carol Deason. On February 14, 1977, they married in Fayetteville and together they raised their three sons: Brandon, Jeremy and Jarod.

Randy enjoyed spending time with family. He loved following his little monkey around outside. He enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical and could fix anything you threw his way. He also enjoyed gardening and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He was a lifelong musician and could play guitar, banjo, fiddle and flute, among other instruments.
 

Randy is survived by a loving family that includes his wife, Linda, of 43 years; three sons: Brandon Guthrie of Westville, OK; Jeremy Thompson of Tailholt, OK’ Jarod Thompson

and wife Dakota of Stilwell, OK; grandson Sloan Suda Thompson, of Stilwell, OK; parents Luther and Betty Thompson of Lincoln, AR; two brothers: Michael Thompson of Lincoln, AR, and Kevin Thompson and wife Donna of Lincoln, AR; sister Lanita Morrison of Fayetteville, AR; two brothers-in-law: Mike Deason and Dewayne Deason and wife Benetta, of Stilwell, OK, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive him.
 

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Spade Mountain Cemetery, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Chuck Glass, officiating.

Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
