Funeral services for Ronnie Andrew Jayne were held 10 a.m. Monday, May 21 at the Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Audie Vaughn officiating.

Interment followed at the Spade Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.

Ronnie was born Jan. 20, 1939, in Muskogee to Daniel and Beulah (Campbell) Jayne. He departed this life May 18 in Midwest City at the age of 62 years, three months and 29 days.

He was a retired weapons handler for Tinker Air Force Base. On Aug. 21, 1961, he married LaVerna O'Neal in Stilwell. He attended the First Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters and one son, Mitchell Neal Jayne.

He is survived by his wife, LaVerna Jayne of the home in Midwest City; two sons; Doug Jayne of McAlester and Greg Jayne of Midwest City; six grandchildren; four sisters, Juanita Thomas of Del City, Maxine Rieski of Midwest City, Jackie Peak of Santa Maria, Calif. and Mildred Bates of Pinol, Calif.; a host of friends and loved ones.

LaVerna Fern Jayne, the daughter of Thedford Henry O'Neal and Edna Lucille (Thomas) O'Neal, was born July 26, 1941, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She departed this life August 12, 2007, after a lengthy illness at 66 years of age.

LaVerna was a retired beautician. She loved arts and crafts and was a member of the Red Hat Society. LaVerna was a member of New Life Harvest in Choctaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronnie Jayne and one son, Mitchell Jayne.

Her surviving family includes two sons, Doug Jayne and wife, Shelly, of Midwest City, OK, Greg Jayne and wife, Branita, of Harrah, OK; one brother, Noble O'Neal and wife, Cleo; two sisters, Camilla Woodward, Wilma Ray and husband, Tommy, all of Stilwell; seven grandchildren and a host of friends and loved ones.
