Clifton James Hooper, Jr., 40, a native of Stilwell, died Wednesday, April 27 in Chico, Calif. Hooper, born June 7, 1947, in Stilwell made his home in Mesa, AZ.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Hooper, of the home; one son, Corey Hooper, Mesa; four brothers, Charles Hooper, Bunch; A. J. Hooper and Danny Hooper, Stilwell; and Terry Rainbolt, Lamed, Kan.; and three sisters, Loriene Patterson, Stilwell, Geraldine Leutch, Tulsa, and Linda Johnson, Bunch.

Graveside services were held May 4 in the Spade Mountain Cemetery with Brother Fred Griggs of Stilwell officiating.

Interment was under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home.
