Mary (Waters) Young

Mrs. Mary Waters Young, 72, died May 24, 1977 in the Stilwell Municipal Hospital.
Mrs. Young, born December 6, 1904 in Braggs, Indian Territory, and is survived by two sons, Robert and Joe Young, both of Stilwell, three daughters, Viola Brown of Stilwell, Louise Burnett, Oklahoma City, and Juanita Brown, of Tulsa; 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Services were held May 26, 1977, in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jack Stanley officiating. Interment was in the Salem Cemetery.
*Her father was Anderson Waters and mother was Mariah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Young, two sons: an infant and Tom Young, three daughters: Ruby Lee Young, Wilma Young, and Cynthia Mary (Young) Jones.

Note: She is buried at the south west side of Salem Cemetery in a plot by the big Oak tree. Beginning at the North side of the plot at the Oak tree going south, 1st grave is her daughter Wilma, 2nd grave is her son Tom, 3rd grave is her grave with stone, 4th grave is her mother-in-law Cynthia (Starr) Young, 5th is her husband William Young, and 6th grave is her daughter Cynthia Mary (Young) Jones.
