Troy Teehee, son of Nelson and Jennie (Stepp) Teehee, was born May 24, 1923 in Adair county, Oklahoma and went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 83.

He was married to Lula Soap. Their union was blessed with ten children; five girls and five boys.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lula; brothers, Bill, George, Simon, Joe, Harry, John and Charley Teehee; sisters, Aniwake Soap and Annie Christie; three sons, Henry Junior, Woodrow and Leroy Teehee and two granddaughters Lora Mae and Phyllis Jean Teehee.

Troy is survived by a loving family that includes his children, Virginia, Wynona and Betty Teehee, Wanda Springwater and husband, Leon, Donna Teehee and husband, Lee, Truman Teehee and wife, Susie, Herman Teehee and wife, Charlotte, all of Stilwell, OK. Other survivors include 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous family and friends.

He will be missed by many relatives and friends. His children will remember his last song which was, "Oh, How I Love Jesus" and ending with a prayer in Cherokee.

Services were held Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Lawrence Eagle officiating.

Interment followed at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
