Sean Derek Nakedhead

Sean Derek Nakedhead, son of Rufus and Emma Lena (Starr) Nakedhead was born on January 17, 1955 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on January 8, 2018 at the age of 62 years, 11 months, and 22 days.

Growing up in Bell, Sean developed a skill of hunting mushrooms, he could spot one a mile away. He enjoyed many different hobbies which included playing pool, watching and attending PBR events, going on long drives, sightseeing, and watching his grandkids play. He could sit and talk for hours on any subject. Sean was best known for teasing and giving the ones he loved a hard time. He was a truck driver for many years, over the years he has driven for numerous trucking companies such as: ESCO, Lin-Dan, C.M.T., and most recently Brake Trucking, he could also read a map better than Siri! Sean enjoyed serving the Lord and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He married Patricia Pritchett on January 24, 2003.

Sean was preceded in death by his parents, his baby brother, one sister, Patricia Ann Taylor, daughter-in- law Lela (Buckner) Nakedhead and niece, Loretta Ann.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of 14 years Patricia; five children: Mark and Shawna Kay Nakedhead of Stilwell, Jamie Nakedhead of Westville, Erica Pritchett, Brett Pritchett and wife Megan all of Stilwell, ten grandchildren: Devin Nakedhead, Mark Nakedhead Jr., Brittnee Nakedhead, Jade Duncan, Mika Catron, Audrey Hallmark and Casen Pritchett, all of Stilwell, Lawson Wells, Kade and Alyssa Ross of Westville and two great-granchildren, Layla and Serenity Nakedhead; siblings, Eileen Tidwell, Samuel Nakedhead, Kendall Nakedhead, Kathryn and husband Joe Taylor all of Stilwell, Mary Vaughn of Bentonville, Ark., Vicki Allison of Westville, two aunts, Vere Higgins and Lorene Sellers along with a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive him.

Also surviving him are special friends, Jeff “Boop” Glass and wife Sheila Glass also daughters Kristy and Shelby Glass, Thomas Lee “Gomer” and Brenda Fourkiller, all of Stilwell.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at New Life Church, Stilwell, with Brother Steven Glass officiating.

Interment followed at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell, under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
