Donald Gene Flynn, son of Tom Flynn and Lizzie Mae Daugherty, was born August 15, 1958 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years, 7 months and 12 days.

Donald was a blessing to his family and friends. He was always there for them and they could count on his support. The time spent with his family was an important part of his life. Donald had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting while his health permitted.

He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and loved his church family. His presence will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lula Flynn, Snow Daugherty and Winnie Daugherty and a brother: Larry Flynn.

Surviving Donald is a very loving family that includes his parents: Tom Flynn and Lizzie Mae Daugherty, siblings: Billy Flynn of Big Springs, TX, Patsy Abbott, Tom Flynn, Jr., Roger Flynn, all of Stilwell, OK, Gary Flynn and wife Neoma of Sallisaw, OK. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, a special niece Marissa Hallmark, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services were held at 2 pm on Monday, April 02, 2012 at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell with Bro. Kevin Flynn officiating.

Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
