Funeral services for Virginia Mae Pettigrew were held Tuesday March 6, 2018 in the Hart Funeral Chapel with Bro. Lester Campbell and Bro. Jim Sanders officiating.

Interment followed in the Rock Springs Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell. Online condolences may be left at www.hartfuneralhome.net.

Virginia Mae Pettigrew the daughter of Ben and Lillian (Smith) Bush was born May 14, 1951 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord March 2, 2018 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 16 days.

Virginia loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She married John Pettigrew on November 7, 1986 and they blended their families. She enjoyed her role as wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a great cook and she enjoyed working in the garden taking care of the plants and flowers. Next to her family, taking care of her animals is what she loved. She enjoyed going shopping and getting her nails done. Virginia touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and two sisters.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband John Pettigrew of the home; her children Tacy Morgan and husband Roger of Stilwell, Dallas Pettigrew of Park Hill, JW Pettigrew of Norman, and Kristin Pettigrew of Tahlequah; her grandchildren Nikki Davenport and husband Brent, Shelly Camacho and husband Sergio, Dani Morgan, Cordell Miller, Lillian Sawney and Nova Pettigrew; and her great grandchildren Nicholas Morgan, Clara Camacho and Bryson Camacho. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
