Peggy Jane (Gann) Locust

Peggy Jean Locust, daughter of Charlie and Nannie Gann was born June 10, 1956 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed her life September 24, 2020 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years.
 

Peggy enjoyed playing games on her phone and cleaning houses until her health permitted. 


Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Nannie Gann, husband Carl Locust, sister, Lou Ella Gann, one niece Shelia Vann, two great nieces Jazmin Garcia and Tanisha Vann, two brothers-in-law Ernest Diver and George Ross, One nephew Marcus Soap.


Peggy is survived by a loving family that includes her daughter: Michele Locust and husband Ronald Elk of Park Hill, OK; one son: Carlos Locust of Stilwell, OK; three sisters: Lucille Ross of Park Hill, OK, Nellie Diver of Bunch, OK, Carolyn Gann and husband Johnny of Muskogee, OK; one brother: Wilkie Springwater of Stilwell, OK; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  A host of nieces and nephews, family and friends also survive her.


Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Jimmy Muskrat officiating. 

Interment followed at Rock Fence Cemetery, Adair County, Oklahoma.
