Linda Sue (Davenport) Crittenden, resident of the Peavine Community, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, in Tahlequah at the age of 69 years, 4 months.

Linda is the daughter of Robert and Marie Davenport. She married Poncho Crittenden on August 1, 1969. To this union two children were born: Jennifer Lynn and Beau Houston.


Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Poncho, sister, Debi Wininger, brother, Mike Davenport and great-grandson Bryor Clay Drain.
 

She is survived by her children: Jenny Thomason and husband Shane, Beau Crittenden, and wife Shawna of Stilwell. Four grandchildren Steven Drain and wife Alisha of Stilwell, Caitlyn Mays and husband Harper of Stilwell, Emma Drain of Stilwell, and a grandson, Carter Loyd Crittenden, on the way. three great-grandchildren, Cedar Drain, Ollie Drain, and Bryn Mays all of Stilwell, two sisters, Kathy Wilkinson of Sallisaw, Lori Toney, and husband Rick of Stilwell, two, brothers, Russell Davenport of Tahlequah, and Doug Davenport of Stilwell, two sisters-in-law, Debra Nelson, and Terri Davenport of Stilwell, son-in-law, Gary Drain of Stilwel, one, uncle Bill Davenport and wife Rose of Muldrow and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
 

Linda loved being “hostess” to any and all occasions. She very much-loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were the LIGHT of her life.

Linda was well known for Halloween across the county. People came for many years to experience her Haunted House. Linda was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.


Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Reese Cemetery, Peavine, with Bro. Joey Ketcher officiating.

Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell.
