Dora "Kaylene" (Vaughan) Guinn

Dora "Kaylene" Vaughan-Guinn was born May 26, 1964, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Richard Devoe Vaughan and Rosa Mae Harlin. Kaylene was the youngest of eight children. She departed this life February 24, 2014, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years, 8 months and 28 days.
 

Kaylene worked at Cal-Maine Foods in Lincoln, Arkansas for many years. After the plant closed, she became a provider, working for her mom for the last 11 years. Kaylene married Jerry Guinn on April 19, 2013, in her mother's home in the Spade Mountain Community. Together, they raised their grandson, Mason, for the past 13 months. Kaylene had a very special relationship with her daughter, Shaina. She had a unique relationship with all of her nieces and nephews and each one was special in her heart.

Kaylene had a love for her miniature horses and she collected native knick knacks and any kind of knife. She will be missed by all who knew her.
 

Kaylene was preceded in death by her father, Richard Vaughan, daughter, Kasey Jolen Vaughan, two sisters, Edith Morton and Georgia Ann Johnson, one brother, Lonnie Rae Vaughan, one niece, Melonie Mae Berry and one great nephew, Kelby Eubanks.


Kaylene leaves behind, a daughter, Shaina Joann Locklear and fiance, Caity Colvin, of Stilwell; mother, Rosa Mae Vaughan, of Stilwell; her husband, Jerry Guinn, of the home; a grandson, Mason Guinn, whom she was raising; three sisters, Louise Massey, Kathryn and husband, Buck Swake, Sue and husband, John "Eddie" Berry, all of Stilwell; one brother, Claudie and wife, Irene Vaughan, of Stilwell. Kaylene had two step granddaughters, Alexis and Addison, one step grandson, Aiden and three step daughters, Devin, Andi and Kelsey Guinn, 14 nieces, 11 nephews and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Many other friends and relatives also survive her.
 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Hart Memorial Chapel with Rev. Audie Vaughan officiating.

Interment will follow at Vaughan Family Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.
