Lydia Soap Teehee
April 29, 1929-September 28, 2007
Lydia Soap Teehee, daughter of Cornelius and Annie Duncan Soap, was born in Adair County, Oklahoma on April 29, 1929.
She departed this life September 28, 2007 at Hillcrest Medical Center at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 28 days.
Lydia married John Teehee and to this union were born seven children.
Her hobbies included reading her Bible, sewing and spending time with family.
Lydia was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband John, one infant daughter Marion, six sisters; Margaret Soap Scraper, Shirley Soap Bird, Ruby Soap Teehee, LouAnn Soap Bunch, Winnie Soap Daugherty, Juanita Sam Teehee, and three brother; Tom Soap, Jackson Soap and George Soap.
Lydia is survived by five sons; Nathaniel Teehee and wife Anita of Muldrow, OK., Albert Teehee and wife Marlene, Phillip Teehee and wife Cindy, Clinton Teehee and wife Dawn, Danny Teehee and wife Amie, two daughters; Lucinda Duncan, Diana Winney and husband Lonnie all of Stilwell, three brothers; Billy Joe Ross of Weatherford, TX., Cornelius Soap, Jr., of Muldrow, OK., and Dallas Ray Soap of McAlester, OK., one sister; Imogene Locust of Stilwell, 26 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, October 1, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jerry Nofire, Bro. Donnie Sanders and Bro. Lawrence Eagle officiating.
Interment followed at Oak Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
