Gary Dwayne Bigby
April 6, 1957 - February 16, 2007
Gary Dwayne Bigby, the son of Burl James Bigby and Glynadene (Brown) Bigby, was born April 6, 1957 in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
He departed this life February 16, 2007 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 49.
Gary worked as a machinist for Baldor Electric Company and Kasko in Tahlequah.
He also worked part-time as a gourmet sandwich chef and was recognized by the state of Arkansas for making the #1 Reuben sandwich in the state.
Gary raised cattle and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He loved a home cooked meal and enjoyed time with his children and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Glynadene Bigby and his grandparents, Buster and Callie Bigby and Johnson and Allie Brown.
Survivors include his children, Justin Bigby and Stephanie Bigby, both of Westville, OK; one sister, Brenda Jacobs, of Stilwell, OK; one grandchild on the way; two nieces, Sarah and Emily Jacobs and numerous family and friends.
Services were held Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Terry Hall and Rev. Eddie Bigby officiating.
Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
