Patsy Snyder, daughter of Ellis and Artie (Jeffries) Reese, was born on October 22, 1931 in Kinsley, Kansas and departed this life on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at home surrounded by family at 89 years of age.

At age 7, Patsy moved to the Chance / New Hope area with her family.  She attended Watts H.S. and graduated in 1950.  After graduation, Patsy married O.J. Snyder in Watts, OK and they were blessed with 6 children.

The most important thing to remember about Patsy, is that she loved raising her children and helped raise numerous “other” children as well.  She spent as much time possible with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She enjoyed working in the flower garden, baking pies and attending local events.  Her favorite baseball team was the Atlanta Braves and she even attended one game in Atlanta.

Patsy loved all and never had a rough word to say about anyone.

She is missed greatly and will always be loved by her family.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents: Ellis and Artie Reese, her husband: O.J. Snyder, 1 sister and 3 brothers.

She leaves behind a loving and devoted family to cherish her memory, they include her children: Cheryl Rakestraw and husband Jon of Siloam Springs, AR, Sheila Benham and husband Lloyd of Watts, OK, Bo Snyder and wife Melody of Siloam Springs, C J. Snyder and wife Marsha of Watts, Cliff Snyder and wife Elaine of Watts, Skeets Snyder and wife Melinda of Westville, OK, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service was held, October 29, 2020 at the New Hope Cemetery, Chewey Road, Westville, OK.
