Vicky Lynn Morris, of Granby, Missouri, died unexpectedly on June 24, 2020 at the age of 58 in Emerson, Georgia.

Vicky is survived by her father, David Morris and companion Darlene Cline of Granby, Missouri; her brother Chad Morris and spouse Laura of Neosho, Missouri; her two children, Brad Carr and spouse Tiffany of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Christy Lockhart and fiancé Eddie Moore of Muskogee, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Easton, Alyx, Addison, Hudson, Noah, and Cooper; her nieces and nephews Allison, McKenna, Eric, and Jared; and numerous other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Doris Morris, and her grandparents Tommy and Wanda Calhoun and Loyd and Edith Morris.

Vicky was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 9, 1961 to David and Doris Morris. She graduated from Midway High School in Council Hill, Oklahoma in 1979. On November 6, 1982 she welcomed her baby boy Brad to this world in Gravette, Arkansas. On October 24, 1988 in the same hospital, she welcomed her daughter Christy. Her children meant the world to her and she was extremely proud of them. She was a woman of many talents and enjoyed working. She always worked very hard at everything she did. When she wanted to do something new, she went after it with extreme determination and without fear.

Vicky loved her grandbabies and talked about them to anyone who would listen. Her favorite thing to do when she had time off was to go visit them. She was incredibly selfless, helpful, entertaining, hard-working, and loving. She always made everyone laugh and had a laugh herself that was unforgettable. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and was baptized at a young age. She is now in Heaven with her mother who she missed greatly. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, grandchildren, and all who knew her.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3rd at Roberts & Hart Funeral Home at 605 S. Williams St, Westville, OK 74965. Pastors Lloyd Morris and Jason Calhoun will officiate.

There will be a short graveside service immediately following at New Hope Cemetery in Chance, Oklahoma where Vicky will be laid to rest.
