John Clifton Morris
November 29, 1926-December 9, 2008

John Clifton Morris was born November 29, 1926, in Chewey, Oklahoma to Loyd Morris and Iva (Thorn) Morris.
He passed away December 9, 2008, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 82 years and 10 days.
Cliff was married to Mollie Jones in Sheridan, California.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War 11 and was a member of the Westville VFW.

Cliff was a retired construction worker and was a member of Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church.


His parents, his wife, Mollie and brothers, Leland, Clinton and Max Morris all preceded him in death.

Surviving family members include his children, June Hart, of Hawaii, Geraldine Morris and Wayne Morris, of California, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, brothers and sisters; Lorine and Frank Jones, of Broken Arrow, OK, Maxine and Wayne Wagner, of Pleasant View, TN, David and Doris Morris, of Granby, MO, Cleo and Bill Scott, of Tulsa, OK, Gerald and Jackie Morris, of Pueblo, CO, sister-in-law, Wanda Morris, of Westville, OK, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Hart Memorial Chapel in Westville with Rev. Lloyd Morris officiating.

Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
