Funeral services for Jim Lingle, age 78, of Watts,OK., were held Wednesday June 6, 2007 at Hart Memorial Chapel in Westville, OK with Bro. Chris Harrison officiating.
Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery at Chance, OK under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
James Andrew Lingle, the son of Everett Lingle and Eva (Ballew) Lingle, was born June 14, 1928 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
He departed this life June 3, 2007 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 19 days.
Jim was married to Nadine Hampton on May 8, 1947 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Their union was blessed with two children; Kenneth Gene and Glenda Kay.
Jim worked in the agriculture industry as a dairy farmer and was a member of the Chewey Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Glenda Kay Lingle, one brother, Everett Lingle, Jr., and two sisters; Willie Erickson and Lucille Cramer.
His surviving family includes his wife of 60 years, Nadine Hampton Lingle, of the home in Watts, OK; his son, Kenneth Gene Lingle, of Watts, OK; four grandchildren, Lance Lingle, Jason Lingle, Ashlee Moore and Cole Lingle; two sisters, Nina Quick, of Watts, OK and Ella Comingdeer, of Drumright, OK. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends and loved ones also survive him.

Nadine Lingle was born on September 18, 1930 in Chewey, Oklahoma to Wyly and Luellen (West) Hampton. She departed this life to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 29, 2014 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 83 years.
She married Jimmy Lingle on May 8, 1947 in Siloam Springs. They were blessed with a wonderful family and marriage. Nadine was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She touched many lives and will be always be remembered and missed.
Nadine was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy Lingle, parents: Wyly and Luellen Hampton, daughter: Glenda Kay Lingle, son: Kenneth Gene Lingle, brother: Wayne “Buds” Hampton.
She is survived by a loving family that includes her daughter-in-law: Karen Lingle of Watts, OK, grandchildren: Lance Lingle and wife Zeynep of Istanbul, Turkey, Jason Lingle of Pryor, OK, Ashlee Gann and husband Chase of Hillsboro, KS, Cole Lingle of Watts, great grandchildren: Kallie Lingle of Westville, OK, Cashen Gann and Kenzington Gann of Hillsboro, KS, sisters-in-law: Nina Quick and Lois Hampton, loving nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends who were all special to her.
Funeral services were held at 10 am on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Roberts & Hart Chapel with Pastor Justin Heck officiating. Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery, Westville, OK.
