Bobby Joe Ross, son of Jess Ross and Ella Mae (Sanders) Gregory, was born September 2, 1963 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on June 10, 2018 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years, 8 months and 8 days.

Bobby Joe loved the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his family. He was also gifted in making numerous items such as; dream catchers, keychains and spears.  When his health permitted he enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and looking for mushrooms but most of all he enjoyed time spent with his boys and extended family. There was never anyone that Bobby Joe refused to help in this life. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle to his family whom will miss and love him always.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his sons; Braydon and Shadow Ross, mother; Ella Mae Gregory, sister; Vicki and husband Ronnie Dugger, nieces; Lavonna, Vanessa and Nancy all of Stilwell. Nephews; Billy, Donald and Robert, uncle; Felix Sanders all of Stilwell, special “brother”; “Rabbit” Johnny Sanders, several other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, with Bro. Jimmy Muskrat officiating.

Interment followed at Mulberry Cemetery, Stilwell.
