Funeral services for Sam SCRAPER were held February 25, 1999 at the Sequoyah Baptist Church with Bro. Gary BUNCH officiating. Interment followed in the McLemore Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.

Sam was born November 21, 1906 in Indian Territory, to Dick and Rebecca HOOPER SCRAPER. He departed this life February 22, 199 at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 1 day.

Sam was married to Mary Jane HUMMINGBIRD on June 20, 1967. She preceded him in death August 2, 1993.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Robert SCRAPER.

Sam is survived by three sons, Dickie, Sammy and David; and one daughter, Sandra, all of Okla.; one sister; 11 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
