Walter Kirk
October 1, 1943-May 17, 2008
Walter Kirk was born to Zack Kirk and Ethel (Watkins) Kirk on October 1, 1943 in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
He departed this life May 17, 2008 at his home in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years 7 months and 16 days.
He married Judy Grant September 5, 1964 in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Walter retired from Adair County after working as a Maintenance and Road Grader since 1978. He also liked to hunt and fish.
His parents, three brothers, J.D., Faye and Mose Kirk, and one sister, Lou Anne Hess, preceded Walter in death.
Walter is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy of the home, son; Ricky Kirk and wife Velma of Stilwell, Oklahoma, daughter; Debbie Jones and husband Ray of Gillette, Wyoming, nine grandchildren; Mitchell Kirk, Latosha Kirk, Patrick Kirk, Jessica Kirk, Dustin Kirk, Key Shawn Nofire all of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Michael Jones, Kevin Jones and Trisha Jones all of Gillette, Wyoming, one brother; Amos Kirk of Stilwell, Oklahoma and many more family, friends and loved ones.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday May 22, 2008 at the New Baptist Church with interment following at Kirk-Robinson Cemetery under the direction of the Hart Funeral home.
