Funeral services for Billy Joe LEWIS were held Friday, June 25, 1999 at Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bobby COTHREN officiating.

Interment was in the Honey Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Stilwell.

Billy Joe LEWIS was born May 25, 1932 in Stilwell to Jesse T. and Mayme Elizabeth PATTERSON LEWIS. He departed this life June 21, 1999 in Stilwell at the age of 67 years and 27 days. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was of the Baptist faith.

On April 20, 1976 Bill was married to Freda NOISEWATER in Miami.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mayme LEWIS and one granddaughter, Carrie PACK.

Bill is survived by his wife, Freda of the home; three daughters, Mary, Lydia and Rita; one son, Billy; three step-sons, Roger, Bill and Jim ; two step-daughters, Carol and Tammie; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
