Paul E. Hamlin, son of Lee & Edna (Thomas) Hamlin was born February 20, 1939 at the family farm in the Honey Hill Community of Stilwell, Oklahoma.

He passed from death into eternal life on October 28, 2006 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 67 years, 8 months and 7 days.
Paul served his country proudly in the United States Army serving in Germany.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lee & Edna Hamlin and one brother Boyd "Gabby" Hamlin.
 
He is survived by his faithful wife Lynda of the home in Howe, OK, his daughters: Charla Richards & husband Randy, Jodi Simmons & husband Jack and Paula "Sam" McCarter & husband Randy all of Stilwell; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Paul is also survived by one brother: Bill Hamlin & wife Helen of Owasso, OK; five sisters: Effie Pettigrew, Pearl Duck, Faye Isaacs and Juanita Miggletto all of Stilwell and Wilma Cullers & husband Bill of Oklahoma City. Two brothers-in-laws: James Lynch & wife Jeanne of Poteau, OK and Glen Lynch & wife Pat of Wister, OK and two sister-in-law: Ann Pottridge & husband Gary of Bates, AR, and Wyonia Hamlin of Stilwell, OK. Many nieces nephews, other relatives and many many friends also survive him.
 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the Christian Worship Center in Stilwell, OK with Bro. Jimmie Varnell & Bro. Leon Glenn officiating.

Interment will follow in the Honey Hill Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home in Stilwell, OK.
