Arthur Cleveland Eli, a long time time resident of Stilwell, Oklahoma, was born August 11, 1926 in Stilwell to James Eli and Memmie (Treca) Eli.
He departed this life July 29, 2007 at his home in Stilwell at the age of 80.

Arthur and Fena Mae Winkler were united in marriage in Evansville, Arkansas. He was a member of Honey Hill free Holiness Church. Arthur "Pop" led a very full and active life. He was a very loving, religious family oriented husband, son, father, grandfather, good friend and neighbor to all.
He served his country proudly in the Air Force in 1952. He will be greatly missed by all but will forever hold a place in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his dearly loved wife, Fena Mae Eli and his mother and father.

He is survived by a large loving family which includes, one son, Vinson Force and wife, Patricia, of Stilwell; four daughters; Pamela Kay Creekmore, of Galveston, TX, Valerie Ann Thomas, Charlene Rene Riedel and Rhonda Gail Howard, all of Stilwell, many friends, neighbors and four very devoted pets.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Honey Hill Free Holiness Church with Bro. Glen Hopkins and Bro. Ted Lawson officiating.

Interment will follow at Honey Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
