Carol Jo Woodward, daughter of Herbert Joe and Jewell Dean (Morton) Hamilton, was born on December 18, 1946 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years.

She worked as a bookkeeper in the banking industry for many years to help support her family. Carol was generous and loving. She had a bright smile and enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She will be missed by all who were blessed to have been a part of her life.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents: Herbert and Jewell (Juki) Hamilton, husband: Clane Woodward and daughter: Rhonda Lee Woodward.

She is survived by her son: Jason Woodward of Stilwell, OK, stepson: Tony Woodward of Tahlequah, OK, brothers: Roy Hamilton, Allen Hamilton and wife Theda, Delbert Hamilton, Preston Hamilton and wife Nancy, Robert Hamilton, all of Stilwell, 8 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Freewater Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK with Bro. J. C. Long and Bro. Joey Ketcher officiating. Interment followed at Freewater Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
