Mae Jean (O'Neal) Coleman

Mae Jean Coleman, daughter of Frank and Lucille O’Neal was born on December 10, 1944 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to spend eternity with the Lord on August 23, 2020 at the age of 75 years, 8 months, and 13 days.

She was a faithful member of the Freewater Baptist Church for many years. She married Clyde Coleman on July 18, 1964 and was a loving wife and mother to two daughters. She was proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed the time she spent with them and was looking forward to the arrival of her first great-grandchild in January.
 

Mae Jean was preceded in death by her father; Frank, her mother; Lucille, and two sisters: Frankie Weir and Janice Ritter.
 

She is survived by her husband of 56 years; Clyde Coleman, of the home; daughters: Judi Wheeler and husband Phillip of Hackett, AR and Lisa Swafford and husband Brian of Stilwell, OK, siblings: Carolyn Leach and husband Bob of Stilwell, Linda Weiger and husband Phil of Colbert, OK, Joyce Martin and husband Kenny of Prairie Grove, AR, Glen O’Neal and wife Retha of Siloam Springs, AR, and Macky O’Neal and wife Linda of Stilwell, OK, grandchildren:

Ariel Fortson and husband Drew of Fort Smith, AR; Tanner and Dustin Swafford of Stilwell, OK; and Tony Wheeler and wife Amy of Greenwood, AR, and one aunt; Florence Gass of Stilwell, OK. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a loving church family also survive her.

Mae Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK with Bro. B J Craig officiating.

Interment followed at Freewater Cemetery, Stilwell, Adair County, OK.
