Susie L Riddle
February 18, 1940 - May 29, 2011

Susie L. Riddle, daughter of Cornelius and Lizzie (Bearpaw) Duck, was born on February 18, 1940 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life on May 29, 2011 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 11 days.

Susie liked to sew, knit, go fishing, hunt wild onions and mushrooms when she was able. She also liked attending gospel singings, spending time with family and friends. She also worked at CNI for 10 years.

Preceding her in death were her parents: Cornelius Duck and Lizzie (Bearpaw) Duck, brothers: Tim Duck and Sid Duck, sister: Leta Mae Duck, 2 stillborn brothers, 2 stillborn sisters and brother-in-law: Elmer Hawk.

Survivors include her husband: Fred Riddle, granddaughters: Lizabeth Ross and Cornelia Ritter, great grandchildren: Cheyandra Ross, Jacob Bishop, McKena Ross, KK Pettit and April Pettit, all of the home in Stilwell, OK, five sisters: Louella Gonzalis and husband Bob Gonzalis, Osie Castro and husband Gabriel, Martha Salinas, Jennie Duck, Dora Duck, two brothers: George Duck and wife Debbie, Tex Duck and wife Anna Bell and sister–in-law: Lucinda Duck, all of Stilwell, OK. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2011 at Cherry Tree Baptist Church, Stilwell, OK with David Mink and DJ McCarter officiating.

Interment followed at Feathers Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
