November 5, 1924 - September 22, 2012
Janana Daugherty, daughter of Sam Joe and Adeline (Bunch) Doublehead was born November 5, 1924 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on September 22, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years, 10 months and 17 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Sam Joe and Adeline Doublehead, husband; John E. Daugherty Sr., son; Ellis Joe Daugherty, brothers; Denton Doublehead, Hiner Doublehead , Charlie Doublehead and sister; Dorothy Gonzales, grandsons; Dennis E. Starr Jr. and Chris Galcatcher.
She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Janana is survived by a very loving family that includes her brothers; John Doublehead and wife Dorothy, Adam Doublehead and wife Pat, sisters; Carol Claphan and Lydia Young all of Stilwell, OK, Emmaline Teehee of Weatherford, TX, sons; Dennis Starr, John Daugherty Jr., Charles Daugherty all of Stilwell, OK, Edward Daugherty and wife Janna, daughter; Louise Gibson and husband Gary all of Weatherford, TX. Grandchildren; Sonya, Denise, Michelle, Brittany, Angela, Dana, Michael, Whitney, Clay, Summer, Skye, great grandchildren; Dheidra, Keaton, Dayci, Amiah, Aselyn, Madi, Mayli and Asher, many other relatives and friends also survive her.
Funeral services at 2 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Gary Bunch officiating. Interment followed at Doublehead Cemetery.
