Melvin Wayne WATERDOWN, son of Bow WATERDOWN and Sadie MCLEMORE WATERDOWN was born March 6, 1945 in Tahlequah, and departed this life May 9, 1999 at W.W. Hastings Hospital in Tahlequah at the age of 54 years, 2 months and 2 days.
Melvin is preceded in death by his father; Bow WATERDOWN; two brothers, Robert F. and Woodrow WATERDOWN; and one sister, Ollie Mae WATERDOWN.
He is survived by his mother, Sadie; four brothers, Houston, Jack, Byrl Dean and Thomas; two sisters, Mary Frances and Louise, all of Okla.
Funeral services were held May 12, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at Sequoyah Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Wayne BUNCH officiating. Interment followed at the Clear Springs Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Stilwell.
