George Stewart Roberts, son of Stewart James and Kate Lee (Bear) Roberts, was born on January 6, 1961 in Whittier, California and departed this life on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years and 13 days.
George was a blessing to his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with those he loved. He had a wonderful smile. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents: George and Elizabeth (Fyfe) Roberts and Joe and Katie Gann.
George is survived by a loving family that includes his parents: Stewart and Katie Roberts of Stilwell, sisters: Valerie Miller and husband Steven of Mukilteo, WA, Cherokee Himrod of Fullerton, CA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Services at 1 pm on Wednesday, January 23, 2012 at Chulio Cemetery, Stilwell, Ok with D.J.McCarter officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
