Jose D. Rodriguez, son of Isaac and Eva (Garcia) Rodriguez, was born January 13, 1936 in Dallas, Texas and passed from this life on February 2, 2015 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 79 years.

After High School, "Little Joe" attended technical school and started on the job training while working at General Dynamics / Lockheed Martin in Ft Worth, TX in preparation for his career in aircraft aviation.

He started working at General Dynamics / Lockheed Martin in 1955 and worked there until 1960, at which time, he moved to Folsom, CA, where he continued in his chosen profession.

In addition to working in California, he also worked in Seattle, Los Angeles, Connecticut, Maryland, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and many other places in the United States as an engineer in aircraft aviation.

He also worked in Mexico, Canada and Spain.

While at General Dynamics / Lockheed Martin, he was introduced to table tennis, by a co-worker and enjoyed it immensely, holding his own against other table tennis champions.

He also enjoyed fishing, traveling, Mountain views and was quite happy driving the tractor and brush hogging on his farm. He loved his entire family immensely.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents: Isaac and Eva Garcia Rodriguez, brothers: Areleo, Edward, Luz and Isaac, sister: Christina Soterro, father and mother-in-law: Pete and Nora Jones, brothers-in-law: Paul and Silas Jones, sisters-in-law: Martha Real, Eunice A Smith Jones and brother-in-law: George Limore.

He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife of 29 years: Naomi Ruth (Jones) Rodriguez, of the home in Bunch, OK, daughter: Rose Rodriguez and Linda Bautista of Phoeniz, AZ, son: Mike Rodriguez, the mother of his children: Chonita Rodriguez, sisters: Juanita DeLuna, Lup` Minter, Mary Mondy, all of Ft. Worth, TX, step children: Tammie Seymour and husband Bob of Wichita, KS, Daniel Welch of Houston, TX, Angela Welch of Bunch, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters-in-law: Mary Limore, Ella Harper and husband Tommy, Daisy Poor and husband Kenny, Connie Roberts and husband Orville, all of Bunch.

Many other relatives from the Texas area and friends also survive him.

Graveside services at 2 pm on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Chuculate Cemetery, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Ronnie Ford officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
