Mary Ellen Sixkiller was born on August 3, 1939 to Charley and Clara (Scraper) Price in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 31, 2013 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 28 days.
On November 30, 1966, She married Henry Sixkiller and was happily married for almost 47 years. Mary Ellen attended First Assembly of God Church since the day she was born and went above and beyond the call of duty to serve the Lord any way she could. Mary Ellen worked as a receptionist at the Bank of Commerce for nearly 20 years. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and she enjoyed being a beloved mother and Mamaw the most. She was a natural caregiver, sacrificing her needs for those she loved. Her life was a sermon.
Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents: Charley Price, George and Clara Gladden, first husband: Gaylerd Miller and daughter: Nakima Sue (Miller) Walden and grandson: Mickey Dale Miller, II.
Mary Ellen is survived by her husband: Henry Sixkiller of the home in the Chalk Bluff Community, sons: Mickey Miller and wife Faye, Eddie Miller and daughter: Towanna Miller, all of Stilwell, six granddaughters: Crystal Braxton and husband William of Ft. Smith, AR, Mary Lou Preston and husband Don of Fayetteville, AR, Amanda Chuculate, Renee Matlock and husband Larry, Jessica Miller, all of Stilwell, Dakota Thompson and husband Jarod of Tahlequah, OK, 13 great grandchildren, brother: Harold “Sonny” Price, sister: Carma Sue Price, both of Stilwell, her lap companion: Penny and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services at 10 am on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Chalk Bluff Cemetery, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Roger Baker and Bro. Clyde Quick officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
