Emerald L. Rich
March 31, 1922 - February 2, 2006
Emerald L. Rich was born March 31, 1922 in Newton County, Arkansas to Fred and Arminda (Bean) Rich and passed away on February 2, 2006 in Stilwell, at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 1 day.
Emerald proudly served in the United States Navy during World War 11, where he was awarded the good conduct medal. He came back to Stilwell, where he was a rancher for many years. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Arminda (Bean) Rich; his wife Ruby Rich; seven brothers: Verlin, Lawrence, Arliss, Estell, Elza, Thurman and Orvin.
He is survived by a loving family that includes his daughter Linda Brannon and husband Dewayne of Broken Arrow; one brother: Alva Rich of Sacramento, California; two grandchildren: Daland Brannon and wife Tiffany of Tulsa, and Dalana Brannon of Broken Arrow; two great grandchildren: Dylan Brannon of Tulsa, and Chase Brannon of Broken Arrow, and one sister-in-law: Bernadine O’Neal and husband Quinton of Stilwell. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive him.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 6 2006 at the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Don Varble and Bro. Homer Rich officiating.
 
Interment followed in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
