George Ralph Gladden
January 8, 1920-March 24, 2008
George Ralph Gladden son of Ed Colby Gladden and Mammie Mae (Woods) Gladden was born on January 8, 1920 in Van Buren, Arkansas and departed this life on March 24, 2008 at the age of 88 years 2 months and 16 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother Martha Gladden his wife Clara Gladden, 4 brothers; Bill, Colby Lee, James Lee and 1 infant brother.
He is survived by a loving family that includes 2 daughters; Mary Ellen Sixkiller and husband Henry of Stilwell, OK, Carma Sue Price of Stilwell, OK, 1 son; Harold "Sonny" Price of Stilwell, OK, 2 brothers; Hoy Gladden of Stilwell, OK, Jim Gladden and wife Jane of Wagoner, OK, 3 sisters; Mary Collins of Westville, OK, Harriet Bays of Stilwell, OK, Lucy Wilhite and husband Oren of Stilwell, OK, a very special friend; Joe Cannonie and family of Tahlequah, OK, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, several other family memebers and friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 27, 2008 in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. W.O. Hatley officiating.
Interment followed in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery, under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
