Betty Ruth Langworthy
Betty Ruth Langworthy was born May 1, 1942, in Baron, Oklahoma to George and Isabell (Downing) Watt. She passed from this life on July 5, 2012, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, two months and four days.
Betty was married to Buddy Langworthy and their union was blessed with four sons and a daughter. Betty worked as a home health provider for several years. She enjoyed being outdoors and working in her flower garden.
Those preceding her in death include, her husband, Buddy on March 27, 2001, her parents, George and Isabell Watt, three brothers, Alex “A.W.” Watt, Jackson Watt, and Robert “PeeWee” Watt and one sister, Janet Fishinghawk.
Her surviving family includes, her children, Bobby Langworthy, of Tulsa, Bradley Langworthy, of Christie, Brian Langworthy, of Proctor, Blake Langworthy, of Christie, Beth Hyden and husband, Preston, of Broken Arrow; two brothers, Roger “Sonny” Watt and wife, Sharon, of Brushy, Donald Watt and wife, Debra, of Baron; one sister, Marilyn Watt, of Baron; and sister-in-law, Deane Watt, of Baron. Seven grandsons, five granddaughters, one great granddaughter, several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of loved ones also survive her.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, at the Roberts and Hart Memorial Chapel with Bro. Darrell Lacie officiating. Interment will follow at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery under the direction of Roberts and Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
