Nancy Lou Blankenship, daughter of Tan and Bonnie (Anderson) Scott, was born June 16, 1958 in Gainesville, Missouri and departed this life on March 30, 2014 in Watts, Oklahoma at the age of 55 years.
Nancy enjoyed her role as homemaker for her family. She loved to spend time with her family and friends whenever possible. She will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Tan and Bonnie Scott and husband: Jim Mitchell.
She is survived by her children: Jimmy Blankenship, Tiffany Mitchell, Timothy Mitchell, all of Watts, OK, 4 grandchildren and sisters: Rutha Lewis and Ruth Farmer, both of Watts, OK, Dorothy Burks of Texas.
Nancy is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Graveside services were held at 2 pm on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Bell Cemetery, West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma with Bro. Chris Harrison officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts & Hart Funeral Home.
