Steven Owl, son of Daniel Owl, Sr. and Lizzie (Vann) Owl, was born on May 5, 1945 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 7 days.

Steven was a loving family man. His brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews were an important part of his life. He enjoyed attending their school functions and sporting events. He cherished all of the time spent with them and his many friends. He touched many lives and will be missed.

Preceding him death were his parents: Daniel and Lizzie Owl, brothers: Joe, Sam, Woodall and Sam Lewis Owl, sisters: Peggy Williams, Nellie Pettit, Mary Waters and Nancy Bunch.

Steven is survived by his brothers: Daylight Owl of Stilwell, Daniel Owl, Jr. of Muskogee, OK, sister: Lucy Owl of Bunch, OK, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Dwayne Hardbarger and Rick Pathkiller officiating. Interment followed at Beaver Cemetery.
