October 9, 1924 - October 17, 2006
Opal Carolyn Couch daughter of Youngbird and Elsie (Crowe) Blackwood was born October 9, 1924 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life to be with her Lord on October 17, 2006 in Clevland, Missouri at the age of 82 years, 9 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Curtis Couch, and 1 infant brother.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes 1 daughter: Jo Rita Hicks and husband Bill of Kansas City, MO, 3 grandchildren, 1 sister; Evalee Whitmire of Westville, OK, 3 great grandchildren, several other relatives and may friends also survive her.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 21, 2006 in the Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. John Blackwood officiating.
Interment followed in the Alberty Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
